  • Chocolate Chip Bread (Abm)

    Ingredients

    • 1 1/2 tsp Active dry yeast
    • 2 c. Bread flour
    • 3/4 tsp Salt
    • 1 1/2 Tbsp. White sugar
    • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Dark brown sugar
    • 2 Tbsp. Nonfat dry lowfat milk PLUS
    • 2 tsp Nonfat dry lowfat milk
    • 2 Tbsp. Unsalted butter or possibly margarine
    • 1/2 c. Water Plus
    • 1 Tbsp. Water
    • 1 tsp Vanilla
    • 1 lrg Egg
    • 1 tsp Lemon juice
    • 1/3 c. Mini, semisweet chocolate Chips
    • 2 1/4 tsp Active dry yeast
    • 3 c. Bread flour
    • 1 tsp Salt
    • 2 Tbsp. White sugar
    • 2 Tbsp. Dark brown sugar
    • 4 Tbsp. Nonfat dry lowfat milk
    • 3 Tbsp. Unsalted butter
    • 1 c. Water
    • 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla
    • 1 lrg Egg
    • 1 tsp Lemon juice
    • 1/2 c. Mini, semisweet chocolate Chips

    Directions

    1. This is untested. For my Hitachi I would probably use less water than this
    2. Important to check the dough while kneading to see if additional flour may be needed!!!
    3. Depending on machine either your loaf will come out with most of the chocolate chips whole, of if your bread machine warms up during kneading and rising, the chocolate chips will heat to produce a chocolate dough.
    4. Have all ingredients at room temperature. Add in ingredients in the order specified by your machine. Add in chocolate chips at the appropriate moment for your machine. Set bread machine on basic bread making setting. If possible use light baking cycle, if not use normal setting.
