Chocolate And Coffee Cannoli Duo
Ingredients
- 4 x cannoli shells or possibly 4 miniature graham cracker crusts
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 c. ricotta cheese
- 1 c. minced lowfat milk chocolate
- 1/4 c. pistachios, minced
- 1 tsp instant coffee
- 1 c. ricotta cheese
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. hazelnuts, minced
Directions
- For chocolate filling, in a medium bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon. Stir in ricotta, chocolate and pistachios. Cover and refrigeratefor 30 min.
- For coffee filling, in a medium bowl, dissolve coffee in 1 tsp. boiling water. Stir in sugar, ricotta and hazelnuts; mix well. Cover and refrigeratefor 30 min.
- To fill cannoli shells, spoon or possibly pipe a filling into each shell or possibly crust.
- (Shells are available at Italian markets or possibly in the specialty food section of most grocery stores.) Serve immediately.
