  • Chinese Pepper Steak (Beef)

    Ingredients

    • 1 pound round steak
    • 1 bell pepper
    • 2 tbsp. butter
    • 2 to 4 tbsp. cornstarch
    • 1/2 teaspoon Adolf's seasoned meat tenderizer
    • 6 tbsp. soy sauce
    • Garlic salt
    • 2 tomatoes, cut into wedges
    • 2 beef bouillon cubes, dissolved in 2 c. water

    Directions

    1. Slice steak as thin as possible. Mix cornstarch, soy sauce and meat tenderizer. Add in meat and mix well to coat. Set aside. Slice bell pepper in butter, remove. Saute/fry' meat till medium, remove. To drippings, add in bouillon cubes which have been dissolved in water. Stir to loose drippings. Add in meat and cook on medium for 15 min. Add in bell pepper and tomato wedges. Cook till gravy is thick. Serve over rice.
