Chili And Black Eyed Pea Dip
Ingredients
- 1 can black-eyed peas - (16 ounce)
- 2 c. Cheez Whiz
- 1 can chili without beans - (10 ounce)
- 1 can minced green chilies - (4 ounce) undrained
- 1 lrg onion minced
- 1 tsp grnd Cumin
- 1 tsp dry oregano
- 1/4 tsp garlic pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Tabasco sauce
Directions
- Add in peas to food processor; process till smooth. Heat Cheez Whiz in microwave.
- Combine peas, Cheese Whiz and remaining ingredients. Pour into greased 8-inch square baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 min.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips.
- This recipe yields about 5 1/2 c.; 16 servings.
