Chile Con Queso Dip
Ingredients
- 8 ounce. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 12 ounce. can minced green chiles, liquid removed
- 3 c. lowfat sour cream
- 8 ounce. mild Cheddar cheese, grated
- 8 ounce. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
Directions
- In a greased baking dish, layer 1/3 of the sharp cheddar and top with some chiles and lowfat sour cream.
- Cover with a third of the mild Cheddar and a third of the Jack cheese. Repeat twice, using up all the ingredients.
- Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 30 min, until the cheeses are melted and the center is set.
- Serve warm as a dip with tortilla chips.
