Chicken Stir Fry With Chillies And Basil
Ingredients
- thai
- 300 gm chicken breast preferably with skin
- 2 Tbsp. peanut or possibly vegetable oil
- 2 x spring onions diced
- 2 Tbsp. birds eye chillies
- 1 Tbsp. dark soy sauce
- 1 1/4 Tbsp. palm sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. fih sauce
- 1 c. loosely packed thai basil leaves
Directions
- Cut the chicken into small cubes.
- Heat oil in wok.
- Stir fry chicken over high heat till chicken turns white.
- Adl spring onions and chillies and stir fry 1 minute.
- Add in the sauces and sugar toss briefly and then add in the basil leaves.
- Serve with rice.
- Hint. If you prefer you can replace the searing warm birds eye chillies with 1 sliced red or possibly reen chilli male milder by removing the seeds.
