Ingredients

  • 1 c. Pearl Barley
  • 1/2 c. Quinoa
  • 1 x Skinless Boneless Chicken Breast Bite-Sized Pieces
  • 2 med Carrots Minced
  • 2 x Celery Ribs
  • 1/2 lrg Purple Onions Minced
  • 2 x Cloves Garlic
  • 1 tsp Sage
  • 1 tsp Thyme
  • 1 tsp Poultry Seasoning
  • 20 ounce Nonfat Chicken Broth Water To Cover And Additional As Need

Directions

  1. I browned the chicken in a frying pan sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Put it and all the other ingredients into the crockpot. I put sufficient waterin to cover everything and checked it every few hrs so which it would not cook dry. Cooked it on low about 7 hours.
  3. It was excellent!!
