  • Chia Seeds Pud­ding Snack Gluten and Dairy Free

    This healthy and easy to make healthy snack made with Chia Seeds is sub­mit­ted by Sharon Green, a food coach from Just4Today.

    Ingredients

    • 4 tbsp Chia Seeds
    • 2 cups non-​dairy milk
    • 1 tsp vanilla essense
    • 1 tsp coconut nec­tar (sweetener)
    • 1⁄2 tsp cinnamon
    • 1 Banana (optional)
    • 1⁄2 cup coconut cream (optional)

    Directions

    1. Quick and Easy — sim­ply mix the Chia seeds, milk, vanilla, coconut nec­tar and cin­na­mon in a drink shaker and pour in to 4 indi­vid­ual serv­ings then refrig­er­ate for 1 hour.
    2. Or – blend all ingre­di­ents includ­ing banana and coconut cream, but leave out the Chia seeds. Add Chia seeds and liq­uid mix to a drink shaker and shake well before pour­ing into the indi­vid­ual serves and refrigerate.
    3. VARI­A­TIONS
    4. Try dif­fer­ent fruit flavours. Blue­ber­ries are great and apple works well also.
    5. You can also add some chopped nuts, cacao nibs or des­ic­cated coconut depend­ing on your mood!
