    Ingredients

    • Crust
    • 1 1/2 cups flour
    • 2/3 cup brown sugar
    • 1/2 tsp baking powder
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/4 tsp baking soda
    • 1/2 cup butter, softened
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • 2 egg yolks
    • 3 cups mini marshmallows
    • Topping
    • 2/3 cup corn syrup
    • 1/4 cup butter
    • 1 10 oz. pkg. + 2 oz peanut butter chips(2 cups)
    • 2 cups rice crispies
    • 1 1/2 cups salted peanuts
    • 2 tsp. vanilla

    Directions

    1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. In a large bowl of a mixer, combine all crust ingredients except marshmallows and stir at low speed until crumbly.
    3. Press firmly into the bottom of an ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan.
    4. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until light golden brown.
    5. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with marshmallows.
    6. Return to oven and bake an additional 1-2 minutes or until marshmallows just begin to puff.
    7. Cool while preparing topping.
    8. In a large saucepan, combine all topping ingredients except cereal and peanuts.
    9. Heat until chips are melted and mixture is smooth, stirring constantly.
    10. Remove from heat and stir in cereal and peanuts.
    11. Stir in vanilla and stir until smooth.
    12. Immediately spoon warm topping over marshmallows.
    13. Spread to cover.
    14. Refrigerate until firm.
    15. Cut into bars.
