Cherry Chip Dessert
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup margarine, melted
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/3 cup powder sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup Dutch-processed cocoa
- 1 (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
- 1 cup cherry flavored chips
- 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 egg
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 Tbsp. molasses
- 1 (8 oz.) cool whip
- 2 drops red food coloring
Directions
- Crust: Bear flour, margarine, butter, sugar, salt and cocoa together.
- Pour into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
- Cool completely.
- Pie Filling: Spread cherry pie filling over the crust.
- Spread cherry chips over the pie filling layer.
- Filling: Beat cream cheese, honey, egg, vanilla extract and molasses.
- Spread over the chips.
- Topping: Mix cool whip and red food coloring.
- Spread over the cherry chips layer.
- Decorate.
