- 4 ounces unsalted butter at room temperature
- 1/14 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg yolk, pinch of salt
- 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- Filling
- 3 Large eggs
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (pack)
- 2 ounces unsalted butter melted
- 1 /12 cups coarsely chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
Directions
- Using a electric mixer, beat butter in mixing bowl until smooth.
- Add sugar egg yolk until blend add flour until dough begin to clump
- together,remove dough and make into a ball roll out dough unto
- lightly flour work surface, transfer into tart pan with removable bottom
- press the dough on the bottom and around the side of the pan.
- use fork to pierce all over dough bottom.
- Preheat oven to 350 F. whisk eggs brown sugar in a medium bowl
- until blended. whisk in maple syrup melted butter and pecans
- pour mixture into unbaked crust, place tart on a sheet pan, bake for
- about 35 to 40 minutes until filling is slightly puffed and set.
