Ingredients

  • 2 Cups all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 Cups granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 Cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 Cup dark rum
  • 3/4 Cup butter milk,
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract,
  • 1/4 cup oil, 4 large eggs
  • 4 or 5 ripe bananas slice

Directions

In a mixer whisk eggs sugar until creamy add vanilla oil and milk, remove whip and attach peddle, gradually add dry ingredients mix on medium speed until combined. Gently pour over bananas slices, bake for 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown, check with cake tester or tooth pick. Remove cake onto a cooling rack for about 30 minutes, cover with a plate and inverted cake onto the plate.
