Chef Gino's Spaghette Sauce

It is a great recipe and easy on those who have problems eating spicy foods . The combination of spices is designed to be calming to the stomach.. This sauce , ( a frozen product) was sold in several local stores. My logo was "It Tops Everything". It is a great base for chili, stuffed peppers etc. Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef ( cooked and drained)
- 1 Country Style Rib
- 2 tsp. Italian Seasoning ( or 1 tsp. sweet basil, 1 tsp oregano)
- 2 tsp. dehydrated onions ( or 1 medium chopped onion)
- 2 tsp. garlic granules ( or 2 crushed garlic cloves)
- 2 tsp, sugar
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. fennel seeds
- Several pieces of chopped green pepper
- Dash of black pepper
- 2 cps water
- 2 cans crushed tomatoes
- 2 cans 6 oz. tomato paste
Directions
- In a 4 qt. saucepan, add ingredients except ground beef and
- tomato paste. Make sure it is well blended
- Bring to a boil to allow the rib to cook, about 1 1/2 hours. Stir to avoid sticking.
- Blend in the tomato paste. Stir well.
- Reduce heat, add ground beef, cover and let simmer for several hours.
- Stir often to avoid sticking.
- You can add meatballs to the sauce at any time
- Cook 1 lb. of your favorite spaghetti, Drain. Serve with sauce on top.
- Sprinkle with Romano Cheese
