Ok this is my first time putting out a recipe so go easy on me guys.I am not sure of the amounts so as you go a long please adjust to your taste bubs :) This recipe I kinda took what I liked and a few other recipes and put them together. As you will see I dont cook with oil or butter because I use a non stick pot. Hope my first try isnt too much of a flop!!

    Ingredients

    • Meat ball mix:
    • Beef mince
    • Feta cheese
    • Mix herbs
    • Peri peri spice
    • Salit and pepper to taste
    • Tomato sauce ingreidents:
    • 2X can tomato and onion mix
    • 1Xsachet of tomato paste
    • Sugar to taste(I put in 2 tablespoons)
    • Glass of red wine
    • 1 cube stock or a cup
    • Garlic to taste
    • Peri Peri to taste
    • Mix herbs
    • Extra cheese for the top(optional)

    Directions

    1. Beef mince mix:
    2. In a bowl mix all your ingreidents besides the feta cheese. Once mixed nicely make balls with the feta cheese in the middle.
    3. Set a side in the fridge while you make the sauce.
    4. Tomato sauce:
    5. In a pot add the garlic first let it brown slighty not too much then you add tomato and onoin mix with sachet of tomato paste and the suger. Let that simmer for a few minutes(+-5minutes). Add all the other ingreidents to the pot and let it boil for about 5 minutes. Not too much because you going to put it in the oven.
    6. Once that is done take your cheese filled meat balls and put it in a flat dish and throw over your sauce make sure the sauce covers the meat balls otherwise it will go dry, and pop into the oven. When your meat balls are almost cooked through throw cheese over the top and grill.
    7. We normally eat these with pasta of our choice.
