Cheesy Ham Pasta
Ingredients
- 12 ounce evaporated lowfat milk
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1 c. ham -- cut in strips
- 1/2 c. broccoli florets -- cooked, bite-size
- 1/2 c. cauliflower flowerets -- cooked, bite-size
- 2 1/2 ounce sliced mushrooms -- liquid removed
- 6 ounce fettuccine -- cooked (3 c.)
- 2 Tbsp. sliced green onions -- optional
Directions
- In a medium saucepan stir together lowfat milk, cornstarch, mustard, salt, and pepper. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 2 min more. Add in cheese; stir until melted. Stir in ham, broccoli, cauliflower, and mushrooms. Cook and stir until heated through. Pour over warm pasta. If you like, garnish with sliced green onions.
