    Decided to diversify the usual sweet cheesecakes and it came out very tasty. Cheesecakes - a dish of Russian and Ukrainian cuisine in the form of cottage cheese fritters, fried cakes of cottage cheese mixed with flour and eggs. Some chefs believe that these cheesecakes flour is not added. Usually, cheesecakes fry in vegetable oil, but for some recipes required to bake them in the oven. The most popular simple cheesecakes, rulniki, and cheese cakes with raisins, but spread cheesecakes and other additives, such as carrots, apricots, apples, rulnik, pear, nuts and potatoes. To the table cheesecakes can be made on a plate or in a pot with sour cream or jam.

    Ingredients

    • 250g cottage cheese
    • 2 tablespoons ricotta
    • 1 egg
    • 50g flour + a little for deboning
    • 1 tsp baking powder
    • 70g spinach
    • 70g cheese
    • 1-2 tablespoons butter
    • olive oil for frying
    • nutmeg
    • salt-pepper

    Directions

    1. In butter, fry the spinach, stirring, 3-5 minutes. Cool.
    2. Cheese Grate.
    3. Cheese carefully grind with ricotta to avoid lumps. Add egg, flour, baking powder, nutmeg and mix well.
    4. Add cheese and spinach, and knead dough is homogeneous.
    5. Curd roll dough on floured surface into sausage with a diameter of about 5 cm cut into circles 1,5 cm thick rolled in flour.
    6. Preheat a skillet vegetable oil, fry cheesecakes for 1,5 min. on each side. Cover with a lid and heated 3 min.
    7. Serve hot with sour cream.
