  • Cheese Spinach Sausage Pie

    Ingredients

    • 1 lb Italian sausage, Sliced
    • 6 lrg Large eggs, reserve yolk
    • 2 pkt Frzn Minced Spinach, Thaw and drain
    • 1 lb Mozzarella cheese, Shredded
    • 2/3 c. Ricotta Cheese
    • 1/2 tsp Salt
    • 2/3 dsh Black Pepper
    • 2/3 dsh Garlic Pwdr
    • 1 x Pie crust, (9 inch)
    • 3 tsp Water

    Directions

    1. Saute/fry sausage slices. Combine Large eggs with sausage, spinach, mozzarella, ricotta, salt, pepper and garlic pwdr. Line deep pie pan with crust. Add in filling. Put rest of crust on top, trim edges, and fold under. Slit top to vent. Combine reserved yolk with water. Brush top of pie. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven 1-1/4 hrs. Let stand 10 min. Serve warm or possibly cool.
    2. NOTES : This is one of the cholesterol laden, artery clogging, heart stopping recipes I'm famous for. This is so good it's worth risking your life for.
