Cheese 'n Egg Casserole
Ingredients
- 48 bread slices
- 1 cups margarine
- 6# American cheese, grated
- 1 gals milk, reconstituted
- 1/2 oz dry mustard
- 1 oz salt
- 1 tsp red pepper
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 2 dozen plus 8 eggs, beaten
Directions
- Butter bread slices and cut into 2-inch cubes.
- Alternate layers of bread and cheese in greased 12 x 20 x 2 inch pans.
- Mix milk, dry mustard, salt, pepper, and worcestershire sauce together; add eggs and mix.
- Pour egg mixture over cheese and bread, about 1 1/2 quarts of egg mixture over each pan.
- Refrigerate 3-4 hours or overnight.
- Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
- Cut each pan 4x6.
