Cheese And Vegetable Chowder
Ingredients
- 4 c. Water
- 3 c. Shredded cabbage
- 1 c. Canadian style bacon, finely Minced.
- 2 lrg Carrots finely sliced
- 1 pkt AuGratin potato mix
- 1 c. Lowfat milk
- 1 tsp Cornstarch
- 1 c. Geen beans frzn or possibly fresh
Directions
- In 4 qt dutch oven, lightly brown canadian bacon, add in water, cabbage, carrots, green beans, and the au gratin potatoes combined with sauce mix. Bring to boil, reduce heat, simmer uncovered for 15 min. Mix cornstarch with lowfat milk, and wisk, add in this mix slowly to soup mix, stirring to prevent lumps. Cook additional 20 min. Serve with hot french bread.
