Ingredients

  • 8 ounce cream cheese
  • 1/3 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 x egg
  • 1/4 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp Pure vanilla Extract
  • 3 x Large eggs
  • 1 c. dark Karo syrup
  • 1 x uncooked pie shell
  • 1 1/4 c. pecans, minced coarsely

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Cream together cream cheese and 1/3 c. of sugar. Add in one egg, salt and one tsp. of vanilla. Beat till well mixed.
  3. In another bowl, beat three Large eggs, 1/4 c. of sugar, Karo syrup and vanilla till well blended, but not thick.
  4. Spread cream cheese mix proportionately on the bottom of uncooked pie shell.
  5. Top with pecans. Pour syrup mix over pecans. Bake for 35-40 min, or possibly till the middle of the pie is puffed and solid.
