Cashew Blondies
Taste Of Home - Kathey Skarie Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 8 squares (1 oz. each) white baking chocolate, melted and cooled
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 to 1 cup chopped salted salted cashews or pecans
Directions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla on medium speed for 1 minute.
- Beat in the chocolate and butter.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add to the chocolate mixture.
- Stir in the cashews
- Spread into a greased 9-inch square baking pan
- Bake at 350 F for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
- Cool on a wire rack.
- Cut into bars
