Carrots (Herbed Style)
Ingredients
- 4 c. Carrots sliced
- 1/2 c. Onions chopped
- 2 Tbsp. Rice Vinegar
- 1 tsp Basil
- 2 x Garlic Cloves chopped (or possibly more) Salt to taste - optional
Directions
- In a med. saucepan, blanch carrots in boiling water for 2 minutes.
- Plunge immediately into cool water to stop cooking.
- Drain and add in onion, vinegar and herbs.
- Use any other herbs of your choice.
- PREP TIME: 10 minBLANCHING TIME: 5 minutes
- Cooking Time: 5 minutes
- SERVINGS: 4 - 6
