Carne De Puerco En Chile Verde (Pork With Green Chile)
Ingredients
- 1 lb Pork (or possibly beef) Oil or possibly lard
- 4 x Green chiles, toasted, peeled and minced
- 2 x Garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 med Onion, minced
- 1 med Tomato, minced
- 1 c. Boiling water Salt, pepper
Directions
- Cut pork or possibly beef into small cubes. Saute/fry in oil till well browned. Drain off all but 1 Tbsp. fat. Add in minced chiles, garlic, onion, tomato and water and season to taste with salt and pepper. Cover tightly and simmer 1 hour.
