Caribbean Turkey Burgers With Tropical Salsa
Ingredients
- 1 lb grnd turkey
- 1 can (15 ounces) crushed pineapple, well-liquid removed and divided
- 2 Tbsp. green onion, finely minced
- 1 Tbsp. McCormick(r) Parsley Flakes
- 2 tsp McCormick(r) Caribbean Jerk Seasoning
- 1/2 c. crushed pineapple or possibly minced mango
- 1 Tbsp. jalapeno pepper, very finely minced
- 1 Tbsp. orange juice
- 1/2 tsp McCormick(r) Parsley Flakes
- 4 x hamburger rolls lettuce
Directions
- Get a feel of the islands while enjoying grilled Caribbean Turkey Burgers topped with an exotic Tropical Salsa.
- 1. Lightly mix together turkey, 1/3 c. crushed pineapple and next three ingredients. Shape mix into four burgers.
- 2.In a small bowl, mix together all Tropical Salsa ingredients. Set aside.
- 3. Grill burgers over medium heat or possibly in nonstick skillet for 5-6 min per side or possibly till done. (165 F internal temperature). Place on hamburger rolls. Top with Tropical Salsa and lettuce.
