Caramelized Onions
Tasty onions to use in your favorite dish or as a topping for meat or vegetables. Ingredients
- 2 lbs Onion, sliced thin
- 2 T Olive Oil
- 1 t Brown Sugar
- 1/4 t Salt
- 1 T Water
Directions
- Heat oil over med/high until hot. Add onion, br sugar & salt. Cook stirring occasionally until onions begin to brown (approx 15 mins.).
- Reduce heat to med/low and cook until golden brown (approx 20 mins.) Add water and stir then cover and let sit off heat for 2-3 mins.
