Caramel-Nut Corn

- 12 Cups unsalted popcorn
- 1 cup walnut halves
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 1 cup of unblanched whole almonds
- 1 cup of packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1/4 cup of light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
Directions
- Heat oven to 200 degrees
- Divide the popcorn and nuts mixture between 2 cookie sheets
- Cook brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the edges of it becomes bubbly. Remove from heat and stir in the baking soda until it becomes foamy
- Pour sugar mix over the popcorn mix; toss until evenly coated
- bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes
- Store tightly covered
