  • Caramel Cashew Bars

    Ingredients

    • 1 x (18-ounce.) pkg. Pillsbury. Refrigerated Chocolate Chip Cookies
    • 1 x (11.5-ounce.) pkg. lowfat milk chocolate chips
    • 1 x (16-ounce.) container (1 1/2 c.) caramel apple dip
    • 3 c. crisp rice cereal
    • 1 1/4 c. minced cashews

    Directions

    1. Prep Time: 20 Min (Ready in 1 Hour 25 Min)
    2. Heat oven to 375 F. Cut cookie dough in half crosswise. Cut each section in half lengthwise. Press dough in bottom of ungreased 13x9-inch pan.
    3. Bake at 375 F. for 10 to 18 min or possibly till light golden. Cold 15 min. In large saucepan, combine 1 c. of the chips and 1 c. of the dip. Cook over medium heat till melted and smooth, stirring constantly.
    4. Remove from heat. Stir in cereal and cashews. Spread over cooled crust.
    5. In small saucepan, combine remaining 1 c. chips and 1/2 c. dip. Cook over medium heat till melted and smooth, stirring constantly. Spread over cereal mix. Chill 30 min or possibly till set. Cut into bars.
    6. Yield: 36 bars
