Candy Bar Cookies On A Stick

Ingredients

  • 1 c. Peanut butter
  • 1/2 c. Margarine or possibly butter
  • 1/2 c. Shortening
  • 1 1/2 c. Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c. Brown sugar firmly packed
  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 2 lrg Large eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 1/4 c. All purpose flour
  • 40 x Wooden sticks
  • 40 x Snickers candy bars * see note Miniature size 1-inch Or possibly mars bars Melted chocolate or possibly Frosting Decorative sugars or possibly sprinkles

Directions

  1. Can use 20, 1x2-inch size halved. Beat peanut butter, margarine or possibly butter, and shortening in a large mixing bowl on high speed for 30 seconds.
  2. Add in granulated sugar, brown sugar, and baking soda and beat until combined.
  3. Beat in Large eggs and vanilla until combined. Beat in as much of the flour as you can with the mixer on medium, scraping sides of bowl occasionally. Stir in any remaining flour with a spoon.
  4. Insert a wooden stick into each candy bar piece. Form about 2 Tbsp. dough into a ball shape around each candy bar piece, making sure the candy is completely covered. If you like, roll ball in decorative candies, nuts, or possibly colored sugar, gently pushing candies or possibly nuts into dough.
  5. Place cookies 2 1/2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake in 325 oven for 15-20 min or possibly until golden brown and set. Cold on cookie sheet 5 min. Remove cookies to a wire rack to cold completely.
  7. If you like, drizzle or possibly frost the cookies with melted chocolate or possibly frosting.
