Candied Fruit Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 2 x Large eggs
- 3 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 c. candied fruit
- 1 c. minced pecans
- 1 Tbsp. sherry
Directions
- Cream together sugars and butter. Add in Large eggs and beat well. Combine flour, salt and soda and slowly add in to butter mix stirring constantly. Add in fruit, nuts and sherry and mix well. Refrigeratefor 1 hour.
- Drop tablespoonfuls on a baking sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 min.
- Note: Slimmers -: Use your favorite egg and sugar substitute.
