Canadian Bacon Bread
Ingredients
- 1 loaf whole wheat frzn bread dough thawed
- 1/4 c. egg substitute thawed
- 3/4 c. shredded part skim mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 pkt sliced Canadian bacon (6 ounce) veg cooking spray
Directions
- Divide the dough into 2 portions. Roll each out into a 10-inch x 10-inch square. In small bowl, mix together egg substitute and cheeses. Spread mix over each dough portion, leaving a two-inch border around all edges. Cut sliced Canadian bacon into 1/4-inch strips. Lay strips on top of cheese mix. Roll each portion*jelly roll-fashion*. Place seam side down on cooking sheet coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 min or possibly till golden brown. Cut into slices and serve hot.
