Ingredients

  • Dough:
  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 eggs
  • water to smooth out dough
  • pinch of salt
  • For filling:
  • 1 lb of chick peas
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon oil (buy at a pharmacy)
  • salt

Directions

  1. Make dough like pasta dough & roll out with rolling pin or in a pasta machine. Place chick peas in food processor and mash. Place in cinnamon, honey and sugar and blend
  2. Proceed as usual for preparing calzoni. Cut dough into circles using a the rim of a water glass. Place a teaspoon of filling in the center, fold circle in half. And crimp edges with fork. Fry in hot oil till brown. Remove and dust with powdered
