Cajun Grilled Shrimp Ii
Ingredients
- 3 x green onions chopped
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 3 x garlic cloves chopped
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper - (to 1/2)
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper - (to 1/2)
- 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 1/2 lb shrimp shelled, with tails intact, deveined Lemon wedges for serving
Directions
- Combine onions, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, salt and peppers in 2-qt glass dish; stir in oil. Add in shrimp; turn to coat. Cover and chill at least 15 min.
- Thread shrimp onto metal or possibly wooden skewers. (Soak wooden skewers in warm water 30 min to prevent burning.) Grill shrimp over medium-warm Kingsford Briquets about 2 min per side till opaque. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
- Comments: Frzn shelled and deveined shrimp are a great time-saver; just thaw and cook them.
