    Grits that compliment any meat entree any time of the day or can just be eaten alone at any meal or snack instead of junk food. Me and my son love them for breakfast alone or as a side dish. They are simple and quick. Made in 10 minutes by using Quater instant grits and ingredients in your fridge amd pantry.

    Ingredients

    • 2 Packages of Quater Instant Grits Butter Flavor
    • 1/2 Cup Boiling Water or enough to desolve grits
    • Dash of Kraft 3 Cheese Blend Grated Parmesan to taste
    • Dash of Hot Sauce to taste
    • Dash of Paprika to taste
    • Dehydrated Minced or Chopped Onions or Onion Powder to taste
    • Dash of Garlic Powder to taste
    • Dash of Black Pepper to taste
    • Dash of Red pepper to taste
    • Dash of Parsley to taste
    • Dash of Whole milk for creamy texture
    • 3 Pats of Butter or margerine for flavor and texture

    Directions

    1. Boil water in tea kettle or pan
    2. Place 2 packages of instant grits in cereal bowl
    3. Add all of dry seasonings(onions or onion powder,garlic powder,black pepper,red pepper,paprika,parsley)
    4. Add parmesan cheese to flavor
    5. Mix all dry ingredients together
    6. Add 2 pats of butter
    7. Add boiling water and stir grits till all lumps are dissloved, keep adding water till grits are medium thickness
    8. Cook grits in microwave on high power for 2-3 minutes depending on microwave. I use an 1100 watt microwave.
    9. Stir Grits and mix thoroughly
    10. Fold milk in till grits have a creamy texture
    11. Add hot sauce and stir
    12. Add last pat of butter and stir till grits are not sticky but creamy.
    13. Let grits cool and serve plain or as side dish.
    14. Enjoy!!
