Cabbage are perhaps the most famous traditional Slovak dishes.
Boil usually on special occasions such as Christmas or weddings. Cabbage soup is a soup made ​​of sauerkraut, smoked sausage, mushrooms, and at Christmas time!:)

Ingredients

  • 250 g smoked belly (smoked neck), 400 g of sauerkraut, 30 g lard, 150 g potatoes, 30 g flour, ground red pepper, salt.

Directions

  1. Smoked meat pour water to boil-soft. Choose and cut into small cubes and put back into broth. Add chopped cabbage and heat to boiling. The ointments, finely chopped onion, flour and ground red pepper prepare a roux, stir it into soups and dovaríme. Finally, the soup to taste with salt. Serve with boiled potatoes separately. At cabbage can also be administered separately cooked smoked sausage. Serve with black or white bread.
