Butterscotch Apple Pecan Cobbler
Ingredients
- 12 ounce Pkg. Nestle Toll House
- 1/4 c. All-purpose flour
- 2 c. Butterscotch flavored morsels
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 2 1/2 lb Tart Apples, peeled & diced
- 1/4 c. Brown Sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 c. All-purpose Flour
- 1 c. Pecans, minced
- 1/4 c. Brown sugar, firmly packed
- 3/4 c. Quick or possibly Old Fashioned Oats,-uncooked
- 4 Tbsp. Butter (1/2 stick)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375F. In small bowl, combine butterscotch morsels, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon; set aside. Place apples in 13 x 9" baking pan; sprinkle morsel mix over apples. Bake 20 min.
- TOPPING: Combine flour and brown sugar, cut in butter till crumbly.
- Stir in pecans and oats; sprinkle over apple mix. Bake 30-40 min till apples are tender. Cold slightly. Serve with ice cream or possibly whipped cream.
- Makes 10-12 servings.
