Brussels Sprouts In Lemon Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 pkt (10 ounce ea) frzn Brussels sprouts
- 1/4 c. butter or possibly margarine
- 2/3 c. mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp celery salt
- 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 c. sliced almonds, toasted
Directions
- Cook Brussels sprouts according to package directions, omitting salt; drain.
- Place Brussels sprouts in a shallow 2-qt casserole and keep hot. Heat butter in saucepan; add in mayonnaise, lemon juice, and celery salt. Beat with a wire whisk till smooth; cook over medium heat till warm, stirring constantly (don't boil). Pour sauce over Brussels sprouts; sprinkle with cheese and almonds.
- Serves 6.
