  • Bride's Casserole

    Ingredients

    • 1 lb Lean grnd beef
    • 1 sm Onion, minced
    • 1 pkt (8-ounce) cream cheese, softened
    • 1 can (10.75-ounce) cream of mushroom soup
    • 1 can (12-ounce) green beans -or possibly-
    • 2 c. Fresh cooked green beans
    • 1 jar (2-ounce) pimentos, liquid removed and minced
    • 1 tsp Salt Black pepper to taste
    • 1 can Refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

    Directions

    1. This recipe was given to me by my husband's grandmother-it's simple and good.
    2. Brown meat; drain well. Add in the onion and cook till tender. Stir in cheese and the soup till well blended. Add in the beans, pimentos and the seasonings. Place into a 12" x 8" baking dish. Place the biscuits around the edge of the casserole. Bake at 375 degrees for about 20-25 min or possibly til biscuits are golden.
