You will love this easy egg sandwich because protein packed breakfast cheap and made with basic pantry ingredientscan make the egg ahead of time easy to make and satisfyingIngredients: Ingredient note: sambal oelek or any kind of chili sauce can be used. I used sour dough bread, but any kind of crusty bread will work. Step by Step instructions: 1- Heat a non stick skillet and coat little oil in the center of the pan. Once the pan gets hot, break an egg and pour it in the centre. Using a fork gently brek the yolk, making sure it doesnt spread too much. Sprinkle some salt, crushed black pepper and chili sauce. 2- Add some chopped onion, cilantro pinch of salt and cook in medium flame for 2 minutes. 3- Slowly flip the egg and cook for another 2-3 minutes. 4- Flip it back, add some grated cheese and close the lid for 30 seconds till the cheese melts. 5 & 6- In a small bowl add mayonnaise and chili sauce and mix it well 7- Toast the bread and spread some of the mayo-chili sauce on each bread slice. Place the cooked eggs and chopped cilantro between the toasted bread and enjoy the sandwich with some coffee or juice. What other seasoning can I use for the eggs? You can use hot sauce, cayenne, chili powder, curry powder or black pepper. What kind of bread can be used? Sour dough bread, white/wheat bread, pumpernickel bread, bagel or multigrain bread. what can I serve the egg sandwich with? Serve it with coffee/tea, milk or juice.
