Braised Veal Chops

- 4 veal chops
- 1 1/2 cups of white wine
- 1 tbsp of tomato paste
- 2 1/2 cups of water
- 1 medium sliced onions
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2 bay leaves,
- 2 pieces of carrots, chopped
- 1 rib of celery, chopped
- sprinkle of Italian seasoning
- sprinkle of salt and pepper
- sprinkle of red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tsp oil for browning
Directions
- Heat up oil in a pan/pot. Brown each side of the veal chops for 3-5 minutes on each side.
- Add 1 1/2 cups of white wine. Whatever you got lying around. If you have red wine, well use that instead too. Add 1 tbsp of tomato paste, 2 1/2 cups of water, sliced onions, 3 cloves of garlic, 2 bay leaves, chopped carrots, and chopped celery. Season with Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Sprinkle a little bit of red pepper flakes too is you want.
- Simmer in low-heat for 2 1/2 hours. Stir occasionally.
