A Much better, Tastier version then the restaurant. In my pictures you can't see the tomato sauce but it's there. Instead of making your own burger, You can use bought burgers. even tofu or veggie burgers. Just precook them first and use warm. The 15 minutes finishing time won't heat the burger fully if its cold.

    Ingredients

    • 1 lb Ground Beef
    • 4 Italian Sausages- Casing Removed
    • 1 Small Onion- Small Diced
    • 1 Cup Pepperoni- Small Diced
    • 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
    • 2 Tbsp Garlic- Minced
    • 2 Tbsp Dry Chicken Base
    • 3 shakes of Franks Red Hott
    • 1 Tbsp Basil
    • 4 Slices Of Mozzarella
    • 3/4 Cup marinara or pizza sauce
    • 1 Batch Pizza Dough
    • 1/4 Cup Parmesan Garlic Butter- Optional

    Directions

    1. In a Small Pan, Sautee the onion til almost soft then add the pepperoni. Sautee til heated through. Drain off any Grease. Set aside to Cool.
    2. In a bowl. Add Ground beef, the Italian sausae, Soy sauce, garlic, chicken base, basil and the franks hotts. If the Pepperoni and onion is cool enough.toss it in as well.
    3. Mix it up. make sure it's very well mixed. getting the seasoning other ingredients spread through out.
    4. Form into patties. I make fairly large ones and make 5 of them.
    5. Place them on a cookie sheet. Bake 15 to 20 minutes on 350.
    6. As they bake. Deal with the Dough. Divide the dough to the same amount of burgers and form into large disks. ensuring that there will be atleast 2 inches all round.
    7. Put a bit of sauce in the center of each dough. dont spread it out to far or anything.
    8. Place a slice of cheese over the sauce. then add a bit more cheese. Right now is the perfect time to add extras ( Squeezed out pineapple is the husbands favorite as well as cooked bacon, sauteed mushrooms or peppers anything you may enjoy on a burger)
    9. Place the still warm burger on top. Bring the sides of the dough up and slightly over lap it all. slightly press down to seal.
    10. flip over and place on a clean cookie seat with the seam facing down.
    11. Brush with the Parmesan Garlic butter.
    12. Bake in the oven(350) for 15 Minutes.
