  • Boneless Pork Chop Tacos

    Ingredients

    • 3 x avocados
    • 1/4 x white onion, finely minced
    • 1/4 c. cilantro, minced Salt and pepper to taste In a bowl, mash all ingredients together with your hands till somewhat chunky. Set aside.
    • 1 head romaine lettuce, outer leaves removed
    • 2 x boneless pork chops
    • 3 Tbsp. oil
    • 1 c. Newman's Own Roasted Garlic Salsa
    • 1/2 c. water
    • 1 pkt pre-shredded sharp cheddar cheese
    • 1 pt lowfat sour cream, regular, low-fat or possibly non-fat
    • 1 c. freshly minced cilantro
    • 1 c. Newman's Own Roasted Garlic Salsa

    Directions

    1. In a skillet, heat the oil on high heat. Cook the chop for 5 min on one side, turn over and cook another 5 min. Add in the salsa and water and turn the heat down to medium-low, covering the pan. Cook another 15 min.
    2. Hot the tacos:1 package corn tortillasUsing a skillet on medium heat, hot the corn tortillas till just soft.
    3. Place in a container which has a hot towel and wrap the tortillas in it.
    4. Condiments:Place all the ingredients on separate platters and serve family style.
    5. Arrange in the following order: place a nice amount of pork first, cheese, lettuce, guacamole, lowfat sour cream and cilantro. Top with Newman's Own Roasted Garlic Salsa.
    6. Serves: 6
