Ingredients

  • 1 c. water plus
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1 1/2 tsp lemon peel grated
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine softened
  • 3 c. bread flour Gold Medal Better for Bread Flour
  • 2 Tbsp. dry lowfat milk
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp active dry yeast Fleischmann's Bread Machine Yeast
  • 1/3 c. dry blueberries or possibly currants

Directions

  1. Measure carefully, placing all ingredients in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer.
  2. Select Sweet or possibly Basic/White cycle. Use Medium or possibly Light crust setting.
  3. Push start.
  4. Use of a delay timer is okay.
  5. Makes a 1 1/2 lb loaf.
