Blue Ribbon Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 c. Dark brown sugar - firmly packed
  • 1/2 c. White sugar
  • 1 c. Salted butter - cool and cut
  • 2 lrg Large eggs
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 c. Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Directions: Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt. Mix well with a wire whisk. In a large bowl, blend with an electric mixer, the brown sugar, white sugar at medium speed. Add in the butter and mix to combine. Add in the Large eggs and vanilla extract and mix at medium speed to create a thick dough. Don't overmix. Add in the flour mix and the chocolate chips. Blend at low speed till just mixed. Drop by rounded Tbsp. onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 22-24 min till golden.
