Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. Water
  • 1/2 c. Butter or possibly margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Grnd black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Grnd red pepper
  • 6 lrg Large eggs
  • 8 ounce Crumbled blue cheese
  • 8 x Bacon slices, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 c. Finely minced green onions

Directions

  1. Combine 1 1/2 c. water and butter in a heavy saucepan; bring to a boil.
  2. Add in flour, salt, and peppers; cook, beating with a wooden spoon till mix leaves sides of pan and forms a smooth ball. Remove from heat; cold 4 to 5 min. Add in Large eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Beat in cheese, bacon, and green onions.
  4. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto lightly greased baking sheets.
  5. Bake 400 for 20 to 25 min or possibly till golden. Serve hot or possibly at room temperature.
