Ingredients

  • 4 lb Shrimp, peeled/deveined, up to 5 or possibly fish fillets
  • 2 c. Flour
  • 2 c. Yellow cornmeal
  • 2 x Large eggs, beaten Salt and pepper, to taste Garlic pwdr, to taste
  • 2 can Beer

Directions

  1. Mix flour, cornmeal, Large eggs, salt, pepper and garlic pwdr in mixing bowl. Add in sufficient beer, mixing thoroughly, to get the consistency of a thick pancake mix. Pour batter over shrimp or possibly fish and let marinate for an hour or possibly two and deep fry at 370 degrees. Consistent warm grease will float the shrimp or possibly fish in a very short time. Drop shrimp or possibly fish into warm grease, one at a time, to prevent them from sticking together.
