  • Beer Bacon Bread

    Ingredients

    • 3/4 c. Flat Beer
    • 1/2 c. Water
    • 1/4 c. Minced green onions
    • 2 Tbsp. Mustard
    • 1 Tbsp. Margarine or possibly butter, softened
    • 3 1/4 c. Bread flour
    • 1 Tbsp. Sugar
    • 3/4 tsp Salt
    • 1 3/4 tsp Yeast
    • 1/3 c. Crumbed cooked bacon
    • 3/4 c. Flat Beer
    • 2/3 c. Water
    • 1/4 c. Minced green onions
    • 2 Tbsp. Mustard
    • 1 Tbsp. Margarine or possibly butter, softened
    • 4 1/4 c. Bread flour
    • 1 Tbsp. Sugar
    • 1 tsp Salt
    • 1 1/2 tsp Yeast*
    • 1/2 c. Crumbed cooked bacon

    Directions

    1. Measure carefully, placing all ingredients except bacon in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Add in bacon at the raison/nut signal or possibly 5 - 10 min before last kneading cycle ends.
    2. Select Basic/White cycle. Use medium or possibly light crust color. Don't use delay cycle. Remove baked bread from pan and cold on a wire rack.
    3. *Yeast amount is correct through proportionately less than which called for in the 1 1/2 lb. recipe
