    Ingredients

    • 1 1/2 lb Beef round steak, 1/2 inch thick
    • 4 slc Bacon
    • 3/4 c. Diced celery
    • 3/4 c. Diced onion
    • 1/2 c. Diced green pepper
    • 1 can (10 ounces) beef gravy (I'll use homemade)

    Directions

    1. I bought the Rival Crockpot book and this recipe sounds great. I plan to try it tonight. Pam Cobb
    2. Cut steak into 4 serving pcs. Place bacon slice on each piece of meat.
    3. Mix celery, onion and green pepper; place about 1/2 c. mix on each piece of meat. Roll up meat; secure ends with wooden picks. Wipe beef rolls with paper towels. Place in Crock-Pot. Pour gravy proportionately over steaks to thoroughly moisten. Cover Crock-Pot and cook on Low for 8-10 hrs or possibly on High for 4-5 hrs. Skim off fat, if you like, before serving.
    4. Serves 4.
