Ingredients

  • 1 can (4 ounce.) sliced mushrooms, liquid removed
  • 1 c. sliced celery
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 can Campbells beef soup
  • 1 can Campbells old fashioned vegetable soup
  • 1 soup can water
  • 1 1/2 c. cubed, cooked beef
  • 1 c. biscuit mix
  • 1/3 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 tbsp. minced parsley
  • 1/8 teaspoon thyme leaves, crushed

Directions

  1. In large saucepan, brown mushrooms and cook celery in butter till tender. Add in soups, water and beef; bring to boil. Meanwhile, combine biscuit mix, lowfat milk, parsley and thyme. Drop 5 to 6 spoonfuls on boiling soup, reduce heat. Cook uncovered over low heat 10 min. Cover, cook 10 min more. Makes about 6 c..
