Ingredients

  • 1 # Rice
  • 1 qt boiling water
  • 12 lbs ground beef
  • 1 qt eggs
  • 2 # minced onions
  • 3 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp salt
  • 2 tsp pepper
  • 3 # sliced bacon

Directions

  1. Cook rice in boiling water until tender and water is absorbed, about 15 minutes.
  2. Combine cooked rice with all ingredients but bacon.
  3. Using #8 scoop, portion and shape into steaks 3/4 inch thick. Wrap each with a slice of bacon, secure with a toothpick.
  4. Place on ungreased baking sheets; bake for 15-20 minutes.
