  • Beautiful Beer Burgers

    Ingredients

    • 1/4 c. onions minced fine
    • 4 x cloves garlic chopped
    • 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
    • 1/2 tsp dry rosemary crumbled or possibly pwdr
    • 1/4 tsp allspice
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tsp grnd pepper
    • 1 1/2 lb grnd beef
    • 1 x 12-oz bottle rickard's red ale
    • 6 x hamburger buns super simple golden brown beer mustard see recipe regular hamburger garnishes

    Directions

    1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine minced onion, garlic, tomato paste, rosemary, allspice, salt and pepper. Stir in grnd beef and mix well. Shape into 6 patties, each
    2. 3/4-inch (2-cm) thick. Place in shallow enamel or possibly non-metal baking dish. Pour beer over the burgers; cover dish tightly and chill up to 24 hrs, turning burgers once.
    3. 2. Remove burgers from marinade; pour off excess liquid and throw away. Grill burgers on barbecue till done and no pink traces remain in meat. Serve on toasted buns with beer mustard and favourite burger garnishes.
